Coach Nash found Rugby at Villanova as an alternative to football, and never looked back. Upon graduation he moved to Manhattan and joined the New York Athletic Club's Rugby team, earning three D1 National Championships and being named to the Northeast select team five times.

In 2008 he moved to Westport to focus on the next stage of life, but never lost his passion for Rugby or desire to compete at the highest level and was selected to represent the USA at an international level. Coach Nash would compete for the Classic Eagles from 2008–2014. Having the opportunity to represent the United States has been the greatest Rugby honor of his career.

In 2016, he had his first stint with Staples Rugby as an asst coach, before joining Westport PAL Rugby in 2018. Under his leadership, PAL Rugby has expanded the program to welcome players as young as first grade, while also providing Rugby opportunities year-round. He also served the Westport community as a volunteer PAL Football coach for 15 years. In addition to coaching, Nash has held significant leadership roles within USA Rugby, serving as Director of the American Rugby Premiership, overseeing operations and governance for the nation's top domestic competition.

Across all roles, coach Nash is known for a player-first philosophy that prioritizes fundamentals and confidence over short-term results. His experience spans the full Rugby pathway, with a consistent focus on athletes reaching their full potential on and off the field.
